- Taconite is iron ore in it's rawest form. By a process of crushing, pulverizing, and firing it is refined to it's full potential as iron. In 2007 Tac completed his first Ironman in Madison. Taconite Boy hails from a planet made of Cupcakes, Beer and wide-screen TV's - periodically these things come in contact with T-Boy and weaken him. Fortunately for him and the world, neoprene swim caps dampen the harming rays of objects leftover from his home-world, giving him time to recover and get back to his mission of making us all safe for Triathlons. Help us, Taconite Boy, oh, help us!
