How long is this run?

Two college age kids inquired of Tac around mile 18 on the run.

"26.2"

"This is a Marathon?"

"Yep, which followed a 112 mile bike and a 2.4 mile swim...This is Ironman"

priceless looks and stunned silence

...and Tac is one.

Tac out...and one heck of a race report to follow

You looked good when I saw you coming out of T1 and then out there on the run. It was a perfect day for a stroll around Madison. I was happy to hear from my inquiries while I was working that you finished.

Congratulations!!!

way to go, super hero.

i figured you'd make it when i looked at your transition times ... you spend long enough there that i'm guessing that you listened to a whole Kelly Clarkson CD!

i LOVED watching you cross the finish line.

After narrowly escaping the hawt and firey wrath of Trimama, Tac Boy and Greyhound continue thier mission of capturing the evil 101-man....

TacBoy: That was a killer bike!

Greyhound: Sure was TacBoy - have you seen our evil nemisis 101-Man yet?

TacBoy: No, but it's still light out..we have time.

Just then 2 college kids run along side TacBoy...

Stoner1: Dude, like, how effing long is this run?

TacBoy: 26 or so miles - say, have you guys seen our evil nemisis 101-Man, perhaps tinkering with the cities power supply?

Stoner2: Sweet! Dude, that's like a way long run...sure I seen the dude - ugly mug on him, over at the power station - there's a gnarly party going on over there...you guys aren't, like, cops are you?

Greyhound: Tac, we need to get over there now!

TacBoy: I agree, my fast, hairy sidekick - take this Gu and follow me!
